Welcome to my new website! The last one was a bit shit wasn’t it? I hope you like this one more, especially as it’s taken me a fucking age to get it sorted. I thought WordPress was meant to be easy – it ain’t. But, as they say, nothing in life that’s worthwhile is easy!
New here? Allow me to introduce myself…
I’m Kristina. I’m 30 something. I like food. I live in London. I work in accounts. I often wonder why I didn’t become some kind of food journalist (oh, wait, it’s because I didn’t know what the hell I wanted to do with my life at 16 and I still don’t think I really know..). I reckon I would have enjoyed the shit out of travelling about all over the place getting to enjoy all that tasty food for a living. Well, I am not a food journalist but this is the next best thing, right?
At the time of writing this post it’s April 2020, and, for anyone reading this in the future who wasn’t alive at this time or is perhaps a creature from another planet, we are currently living through the shitshow that is the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re not allowed out of the house save for our daily exercise and to go to the supermarket, so you could argue that this is perhaps not the best time to launch a new blog site where I share my dining opinions and experiences with you. But I’m doing it anyway.
Due to the fact that all the restaurants are shut (with the exception of some who have adapted wonderfully in order to offer a takeaway service), a lot of the current posts will be about my own cooking. I have also copied over some of the posts from my previous site and I do have some throwback restaurant experiences and recommendations to share, so I hope you enjoy!
